After my wife graduated from medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago, I moved to Wichita to manage the Case construction equipment plant and my wife started her residency in Wichita.
I started medical school at the University of Kansas the same year my wife finished residency.
My wife has her own family medicine practice in Wichita. We have 2 children; Nicole is 5 and David is 2.

Bradford Garner, MD
Brad was born in Brandon, Mississippi and lived there until he was 16 years old. During high school his family was transferred to Kansas City where he graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School.
After high school Brad joined the Army and served as a combat medic on active duty for 4 year, which included a year in Korea. He was able to complete half of his undergrad at various schools depending on where he was stationed.
During Brad’s last year of active duty he married his high school sweetheart, Diane. They settled down in KC where Brad received a BA in Biology from UMKC and then attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
He remained active in the Missouri National Guard serving both as a medic and as a commissioned Medical Service Corps office during the five years following his discharge from active duty.
As a National Health Service Corps Scholar, Brad is committed to serving in a community with great medical need once his training is complete. That requires that he receive the broadest medical training possible in order to be prepared for any practice situation.
His special interest within family medicine includes virtually any procedure, ER, OB, Endoscopy and Sports Medicine.
Brad & Diane's family size doubled with the arrival of their twin girls in January of 2007. In his spare time Brad enjoys family and church activities, as well as playing the guitar.
He is an avid sports fan, especially of the LSU Tigers. Brad and Diane also own rental property in KC that they manage from Salina.

Every Saturday he and his wife join other enthusiasts to play Ultimate Frisbee on the YMCA lawn.
As often as possible he takes part in blues and BBQ in the backyard while his wife jams on the Trumpet and he mans the ribs. Watch out for Sam.
